Lorenzo Gatto

A true rev­el­a­tion in the eyes of the greater pub­lic and inter­na­tional crit­ics through his 2^nd prize and Public’s prize at the pres­ti­gi­ous Queen Elisa­beth Inter­na­tional Music Com­pet­i­tion (Con­cours Musical Inter­na­tional Reine Elisa­beth) 2009, Lorenzo Gatto’s tal­ent has also been recog­nised with his win­ning of many other import­ant prizes. Among other prizes, he won the 1^st prize and Public’s Prize at the Inter­na­tional RNCM Com­pet­i­tion in Manchester and the 1^st prize at the Inter­na­tional Andrea Postac­chini Com­pet­i­tion in Italy.

Hav­ing been elec­ted Rising Star 2010 – 2011, Lorenzo will soon per­form in the major European loc­a­tions, such as the Birm­ing­ham Sym­phony Hall, the Wiener Musik­ver­ein, the Ams­ter­dam Con­cer­t­ge­bouw and other renowned halls around the whole of Europe.
